Teignmouth, Devon – A roof replacement project was commissioned by Teignbridge Council to replace the roof of Broadmeadow Sports Centre as part of a green retrofit.
ROOF REPLACEMENT COST:
An urgent decision to commission the project was initiated to match the contractor’s quote of £613,634 (due to significant delays in making a decision, Teignbridge Council has incurred massive cost increases due to fluctuation in market value of materials). The works included:
- Solar panel installation
- LED lighting
- Asbestos removal
- Removal of redundant ventilation system
