The largest recorded increase in new roofing project enquiries is taking place in Scotland, where more than 50% of all surveyed roofing contractors say they have more new business in the pipeline vs. last year.
The smallest increase was in the North West of the UK, where only 10% of firms say their new roofing enquiries were greater in early 2025 vs. 2024.

All roofing sectors in the UK experienced more firms expressing an increase in new project enquiries in 2025 vs last year, except for the residential renovations sector. This is an indication of the households’ purse strings being more heavily affected by adverse economic ripples than their commercial counterparts (who have more protracted decision-making processes and delayed budgetary reactions to economic factors).
