The vast majority of UK roofing contractors expect their workload to remain consistent over the next 12 months, continuing into 2026.
Very few contractors expect a decrease in work (between 6%-17% of repondents), with one segment in the industry expecting a net increase.

According to the NFRC study, the only segment in the UK roofing contractor industry that expects a net growth in workload for 2026 is Commercial New Build. Whereas domestic repair contractors and those serving public sector clients are most bearish among their peers, with over half of the respondents expecting no change in 2026.
